Q. When consumers use i-DealerQuik on the Web, how is their location identified?
A. The i-DealerQuik Network uses GeoDataSM technology to immediately identify the visitor's latitude/longitude when they enter a portion of their telephone number, enabling seamless service throughout the United States and Canada.
Q. What if there is more that one dealer in an area?
A. When more than one dealer is in the same area, the Network's LogicOrderSM technology automatically displays dealers in a logical 1, 2, 3 order. All dealers are guaranteed to receive their fair share of potential customers, as LogicOrder tracks the number of rotations of each dealer.
Q. What happens if there is not a dealer in the area?
A. Typically, consumers are directed to mail order/catalog suppliers or on-line
e-tailers, so you don't miss the sale.
Q. Where are the i-DealerQuik web pages located?
A. The dealer locator pages are housed on our servers at DCi. Because of the extensive database programming required, we prefer to store the files. This enables us to be sure that the on-the-fly inquiries always result in accurate responses.
Q. Is the consumer aware he is leaving the manufacturer's site?
A. No. The consumer won't realize he has left your website. It's a seamless transition - we either mirror the site or frame the information so that it has the same look as the manufacturer's site.
Q. What about maintenance costs?
A. DCi has lower maintenance costs than any other services or web developers, regardless of the size of your database. We can provide a Service Quote and let you know what those costs will be.
Q. What is InfoScrubSM?
A. InfoScrub is a series of content management filters that are used to verify the quality of your dealer list. All phone numbers are cross-matched with area codes to ensure that the most current area codes are used. In addition, a search is conducted for Post Office boxes, since street addresses are required when directing a consumer to a physical store location. InfoScrub Reports are sent to you so that you may update your phone number files and/or supply the appropriate street addresses for your dealers.
